HomeMy Public PortalAbout2001-047 Resolution Granting Preliminary Plat Approval for Kevin Moxness, 4622 Pine StreetMember Phil Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.01-47 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL FOR KEVIN MOXNESS, 4622 PINE STREET WHEREAS, Kevin Moxness (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of property legally described as Lots 4 and 5 and 20 through 22, Block 19, "Independence Beach, Hennepin County," Minnesota (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant intends to replat the Property by combining five lots into two ; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed and approved by the planning commission at its meeting on August 14, 2001; and WHEREAS, the plat was given preliminary review by the city council on August 21, 2001 for its compliance with the ordinances and requirements of the city. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicant for the plat of the Property, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The existing house and garage must be removed before the final plat is filed with Hennepin County; 2. Any wells on the property must be properly abandoned; 3. The Applicant must pay the City for one sewer and water service before any building permits are issued for either lot; 4. The final plat must be in compliance with the city attorney's August 16, 2001 plat opinion letter; RHB-202160v1 ME230-325 1 01-47 September 4, 2001 5. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and 6. The Applicant must submit the final plat for approval to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void. The final plat must be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval and of the ordinances and requirements of the city. Dated: September 4, 2001. .
