' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCSL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTEST� TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF Ti-I�T CERTAIN PftOPERTY IN THE
UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUI3TY OF L�S
ANGELES LYING ON THE WEST SIDE OF ATLANTIC AVENUE
BETWEEN FERNWOOD AVE!VITE AT�ID JOSEPHINE STc�2EET
(FERNWOOD AVENUE ANNEX�tTION N0, 1).
, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did by '
Resolution No. 62-74, adopted on the 7th day of November, 1962, duly
give notice of and fixed the'18th day of December, 1962, at the hour
of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of'the City Hall, 1133� Bullis
Road, Lynwood,,California, as the day, hour and place when and where
any person owning real property in such territory so proposed to be
� annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation might
appear before said City Council and show cause why such territory
should not be so annexed, and
WHEREAS, said resolution No. 62-74 was published in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the City of Lynwood, and alao in the Herald American,
a newspaper of general circulation published outside the City of
Lynwood but in the county in which is located the territor� proposed
to be annexed, and
WHEREAS� written notice o£ said proposed annexation was
mailed to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to
be annexed was assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll
at the address shown on said assessment roll,and
WHEREAS said public hearing was held at the day, hour and
place and in the manner as set forth in said Resolution No. 62-74 and
WHEREAS, no protests have been filed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1 . That protests have not been made by a majority

of the owners of property'within the area proposed to be annexed to
the City of Lynwood.
Section 2 . 3hat the City Council does hereby approve said
proposed annexation of the unincorporated territory of the County of
Los Angeles lying on the west side of Atlantic Avenue between Fernwood
Avenue and Josephine Street, known as "Fernwood Avenue Annexation No, 1"
•` •and•more particularly described in said Resolution No. 74,
