ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MARCH 3, 1983
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an adjourned
regular meeting in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood,
on above date at 2:00 p.m.
Mayor Thompson in the chair.
Councilmen Green, Morris, Rowe and Thompson answered the
roll call. Councilman Byork was absent.
Also present were City Manager Gomez and City Attorney McEwen.
It was moved by Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman
Morris, and carried, that Councilman Byork be excused.
Council adjourned to executive session at 2:06 p.m. Council
reconvened at 2:40 p.m. and the following action was taken:
N. oROZDO It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilman
CLAIM APPROVED Green, and carried to pay the claim of Nancy Orozco in the
amount of $456.14 plus reasonable costs, subject to receipt
of release and dismissal without prejudice.
Approval on It was moved by Councilman Morris, seconded by Councilman
accrual of time Rowe, and carried, to authorize the Accounting Department to
off continue the computer program for the accrual of time off
conferring with the understanding employees' group will
be contacted.
B. Lake re Mr. B. Lake of the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce inquired
circus Vargas if, due to rain, Circus Vargas is unable to go to Huntington
Park, would it be possible to stay in Lynwood until Sunday.
The City Attorney stated the liability insurance be continued,
all utilities paid, and site cleaned up. It was moved by
Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman Morris, that the
above request be granted.

It was moved by Councilman Rowe, seconded by Councilman
Green, and carried that the meeting be adjourned to the
next regular meeting of March 15, 1983.
