SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS-
MEETING OF JULY 13, 2016
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and fi le the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their meeting of July 13, 2016.
BACKGROUND:
On July 13, 2016, the Commission held th eir reg ularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at th e July 13, 2016 meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Co mmissioner-Blatt, Redmond, Vice Chairman Nim ri, Chairman Clift
Absent: Co mmissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-Stratis
2. CO NSENT CALENDAR :
The Commission approved the minutes of their June 22, 2016 meeting.
3. REORGAN IZATION OF COMMISSION:
The Commission proceeded with the annual reorganization of the Commission by
City Council

appointing Commissioner Nimri as Chairman and Commissioner Blatt as Vice-
Chairman for a one-year term .
4. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS:
The Commission held one hearing in person and upheld the citation.
The Commission held one hearing requested by written declaration and upheld the
citation.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
This item furthers the City's Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2016-17 City Budget.
