with Mayor Riekena presiding. All councilmen were present.
Four members of the Grundy County Board of Supervisors and
Arnold Johnson, County Engineer, were present to discuss a
marked detour for Iowa 214. It was recommended that the de-
tour call for a re-routing of Highway 214 traffic from Wells-
burg west one mile on the county blacktop, then south on a
gravel road to Highway 175. This recommendation was to be
presented to the Iowa State Highway Commission.
Resolutions from the Iowa State Highway Commission, Parcel
No. 50 for construction of a special entrance to the fire sta-
tion and Parcel No. 52 for a storm sewer construction at the
northwest corner of the town park were read. On motion by
Claassen and seconded by Eckhoff the resolutions were adopted
and approved.
Motion made by Huisman and seconded by Eckhoff to adjourn.
Motion carried.
