CALL TO ORDER Chairman Wong called the Community Redevelopment Agency Regular Meeting to order at 7:52 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City. 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Member - Capra, Wilson, Gillanders, Wong ABSENT: Member - Vizcarra ALSO PRESENT: Executive Director /Agency Counsel Martin, Acting Assistant Executive Director Lambert, Agency Secretary Flandrick 3. CONSENT CALENDAR Mrs. Wilson moved to approve the Consent Calendar, seconded by Vice Chairman Gillanders and unanimously carried by the following roll call vote: AYES: Member - Capra, Wilson, Gillanders, Wong NOES: Member -None ABSENT: Member - Vizcarra ABSTAIN: Member -None A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 20, 2007, as pi esented. B. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. CRA 07 -909 — APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF BILLS Adopted Resolution No. CRA 07 -909, a RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ALLOWING CLAIMS AND DEMANDS IN THE SUM OF $34,622.67 DEMAND NOS. 3384 THROUGH 3388. 4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS A. CONSIDERATION OF A REQUEST FOR AN EXEMPTION FROM THE 15% CAP ON RESTAURANT USES WITHIN THE TEMPLE CITY MARKETPLACE Executive Director Martin suggested continuing this item to the next agenda as Susan Lew, the Administrator of the shopping center in Block A, was not able to be present this evening. Mr. Capra moved to continue this item to the meeting of April 17, 2007, seconded by Mayor Wong and unanimously carried. Mr. Vizcarra was absent. 5. NEW BUSINESS — None 6. COMMUNICATIONS — None 7. PUBLIC COMMENTS — None 8. UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR — None Agency Minutes April 3, 2007 Page 2 9. MATTERS FROM AGENCY MEMBERS Mr. Gillanders asked for additional information relating to Item 4A before hearing that issue on April 17th. He wished for the Sheriff to check out license plates in the shopping center to see if the business owners and /or employees were parking in the center's parking lot and taking up parking meant for customers. Sgt. Osterman, Temple Station, indicated that might be difficult to do. Executive Director Martin suggested, as a compromise, to check the parking spaces in front of each store, perhaps at the busiest part of the day. 10. CLOSED SESSION — None 11.
