CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.02-07
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT
APPROVAL FOR DAVID SWEEN, SUSIE SWEEN AND
RASKOB BROTHERS PARTNERSHIP
WHEREAS, David Sween and Susie Sween, husband and wife, and Raskob Brothers
Partnership (collectively the "Applicants") are the fee owners of property generally located at 2112
Holy Name Drive and legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicants intend to plat the Property into two lots; and
WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed and approved by the planning commission at its
meeting on January 8, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the plat was given preliminary review by the city council on January 15, 2002
for its compliance with the ordinances and requirements of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicants for the plat of the
Property, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The final plat must dedicate easements for drainage and utility purposes 10 feet in
width along the Holy Name Drive frontage and 5 feet in width along all other lot
lines;
2. The final plat must dedicate drainage and utility easements 30' in width over the tile
lines on both lots;
3. It is acknowledged that the 4.4' x 25.5' shed on the south lot line does not meet the
required 20' side yard setback nor does the house on the south parcel meet the
required 50' front yard set back;
4. The Applicant must provide the city attorney with adequate title evidence;

5. The Applicant must remove debris from the Property to the satisfaction of the
zoning administrator by June 30, 2002;
6. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to
reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and
7. The Applicant must submit the final plat for approval to the zoning administrator
within 180 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be
null and void. The final plat must be in compliance with the terms and conditions of
the preliminary plat approval and of the ordinances and requirements of the city.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bruce
Workman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Lane, Smith, Workman, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
