RESOLUTION NO. 16-9250
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, SETTING THE 2ND
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017
MILLAGE RATE AND BUDGETS ADOPTION FOR
MONDAY, OCTOBER 3RD, 2016, AT 5:01 P.M.; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission held its second reading and public hearing
for the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 proposed Millage Rate and Budgets adoption on
September 27, 2016; and
WHEREAS, The proposed millage and accompanying budgets required a
unanimous vote of the City Commission pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065(5), and
the required number of Commissioners needed to pass the proposed millage rate
and accompanying budgets was not met.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby set the
second reading and public hearing for the adoption of Fiscal Year 2016-2017
proposed millage rate and budget for Monday, October 3rd, 2016, at 5:01 p.m.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of September, 2016.
