RESOLUTION OF INT�NTION TO ABATE DRY AND DRYING
W EDS ON CERTAIN P,r�RCELS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD.
La'�REAS, Chapter 13 of the Government Code, cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement" provides for abatement of dry and drying
weeds that constitute a public nuisance, and
Wi-IEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood by the Superintzndent of Streets that
there exists a public nuisance on certain parcels of land in the City
of Lynwood, as hereinafter more particularly described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Cit3 of Lynwood as follows:
l. That a public nuisance exists upon the parcels of land,
lots, or portions of lots set forth below:
Mod,jeska Acres: Lots 5, 6, 9, 16, 25, 26 and 64.
Belle Vernon Acres: Lots 21 and 24 of Block 15• i
Tract No. 3025: Lots 1029, 1030, 1031, 1042, 1065, 1066,
1088 and 1176.
Modjeska Park: Lots 45 and 46, Block 4; Lot 1 of B1ock 6;

2. The Sup�rintendent of Streets is hereby directed to cause
notices to be poated in the time, form and manner required by law.
3. That the proceedings for aforesaid work shall be taken
under an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated
as the Government Code, Chapter 13, Sectiona 39500 et seq., cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement," and amendments thereto.
4. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesd,ay, the 7th day of
March 1g61 at th2 hour of 7:30 p.m, in the Council Chambers of the I
City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in th�= City of Lynwood, any and all persons
having any ob�ections or protests to said proposed work may appear before I
