RESOLUTION REQUESTING APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURE
OF GAS TAX MONIES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has allocated
$24 ,5g5.78 for the improvement and maintenance of streets of general
county interest within the city's corporate limits for the fiscal
year 1960-61. The City of Lynwood is ready to proceed with its
progra,m of street work.
' Section 1: That the Board of Supervisors be requested to
grant to the City of Lynwood $ and approve its expenditures
£or the improvement and ma,intena.nce of the following qua,lified streets
and avenues.
A. The construction of plant-mixed or bituminous
maca.dam surfaces on the following:
i � y �� y Portions of the north roadway of Fernwood Avenue
between Wright Road and Ala.meda Street (2.68 mi.). �
Portions of the south roadway of Fernwood Avenue
- between Imperial Highway and Harris Avenue (1.70 mi.), I
Imperia.l Highwa,y between Atlantic Avenue and the I
easterly city limits (0.14 mi.). I
B. General Maintenance on the following streets and
avenues:
West roadway of State Street between Norton and
Imperial Highway (0.20 mi.).
Lynwood Road between Bullis Road and Alameda Street I
(1.40 mi.).
Abbott Road between Century Boulevard and the I
easterly city limits (1.44'mi.). �
� Imperial,Highway between the westerly city limits a.nd I
easterly city limits (2.70 mi.). ,
Long Beach Boulevard between the southerly city limits
and northerly city limits (2.46 mi.).

Century Boulevard between the westerly city limits
and ea.sterly city limits (2.75 mi.),
,� Bullis Road between the southerly city limits and
Imperia.l Highwa.y (1.61 mi.).

, State Street b�tween Cedar Avenue and the northerly
city limits (1.75 mi.).
Carlin Avenue between the easterly city limits and
westerly city limits (1.20 mi.).
Fernwood Avenue between the westerly city limits and
easterly city limits (4.73 mi.).
California Avenue between Fernwood Avenue and the
northerly city limits (0.83 mi.). '
Ala.meda Street between the northerly city limits
