HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002-011 Resolution Granting Final Plat Approval for LirwoodMember Carolyn Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.02-11 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR XLIRWOOD WHEREAS, Kevin Moxness (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of property previously described as Lots 4 and 5 and 20 through 22, Block 19, "Independence Beach, Hennepin County," Minnesota (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant intends to replat the Property by combining five lots into two ; and WHEREAS, the city council has previously granted preliminary approval of the plat; and WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested final approval of the plat which has been reviewed by the city staff for compliance with city ordinances and the terms of preliminary plat approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that final plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicant for the plat of Lirwood, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The existing house and garage must be removed before the plat is filed with Hennepin County; 2. Any wells on the property must be properly abandoned; 3. The Applicant must pay the City for one sewer and water service before any building permits are issued for either lot; 4. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and RHB-202160v 1 ME230-325 1 02-11 February 5, 2002 5. The final plat must be filed with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void. Dated: February 5, 2002.
