RESOLUTION NO.: 1 6-9 2 5 8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A
RESOLUTION RENEWING RESOLUTION 16-9252 (EXHIBIT
"A"); PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission adopted Resolution 16-9252 (EXHIBIT
"A") on September 30, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Article IV Section 4.5(B) of the City Charter requires said
Resolution be renewed every 15 days until a final budget has been approved;
and
WHEREAS, The State of Florida Financial Oversight Board for the City of
Opa-locka requires additional time to review and approve the Fiscal Year
2016-2017 budgets adopted by the City of Opa-locka before they can be
accepted by the Governor of the State of Florida; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby renews
Resolution 16-9252 (EXHIBIT "A"), pursuant to Article IV Section 4.5(B) of
the City Charter.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1 4 day of October, 2016.
