RESOLUTION NO. - 9,1
RESOLUTION REQUESTIONG A SPEED STUDY OF
HIGHWAY 101 IN THE CITY OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina is requesting a speed study on Highway 101
North of State Highway 55 through the current S curves.
WHEREAS, the City Council has a strong interest in reducing the speed limit in this area due to
the amount of new construction in the area.
WHEREAS, the City Council sees the current speed limit as a threat to the current and future
residents safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Medina hereby requests a
speed study for Highway 101 north of State Highway 55 through the S Curves in the City of
Medina.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Carolyn Smith and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof

Whereupon, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
