HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002-024 Resolution Requesting a Speed Study of Hwy 101Member Bruce Workman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. - 9,1 RESOLUTION REQUESTIONG A SPEED STUDY OF HIGHWAY 101 IN THE CITY OF MEDINA WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina is requesting a speed study on Highway 101 North of State Highway 55 through the current S curves. WHEREAS, the City Council has a strong interest in reducing the speed limit in this area due to the amount of new construction in the area. WHEREAS, the City Council sees the current speed limit as a threat to the current and future residents safety. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Medina hereby requests a speed study for Highway 101 north of State Highway 55 through the S Curves in the City of Medina.
