Public Notice
The city council of the city of Medina has adopted Ordinance No.349. The ordinance
repeals the city's existing juvenile curfew ordinance and adopts a new one which is similar to the
ordinance currently applicable throughout Hennepin County. The ordinance establishes specific
nighttime curfews for persons under the age of 12; persons age 12 to 14; and persons age 15 to 17.
Exceptions are made for juveniles in the company of a parent or other responsible adult; involving
work or attendance at a school, civic or religious activity; and in the case of an emergency. The
ordinance imposes penalties for any juvenile and for the proprietor of any business establishment at
which juveniles are allowed to remain after curfew. The full text of Ordinance No. 349is available
