A RESOLUTION P�SSING UPON OBJECTIONS, ANb
DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
, AP THE NUISANCE OF DRY AND DRYING WEEDS
_ THAT EXIST ON CERTAIN P�IRCELS OF LAND IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
WHEREAS, the City Couneil of the City of Lynwood;
" California, did_ on the 7th day of February, 1961, adopt Resolution
No. 61-j ^elat3ng to the abatement of dry and drying weeds on certain

parcels of land in the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, due notice was given to destroy such weeds by
posting "Notice to Destroy Weeds" notices as required by law, and
WHERE�S, at the time and plaee fixed for,the hearing of
protests and ob�ections to said matter, a hearing was duly held and
no written or oral objections were made to the doing of said work, and
_ WHEREAS, the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood has con-
sidered all the facts and is fully informed in the matter, and they
have acquired jurisdiction to proceed and perform the work of removal
o£ aaid nuisance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of I

Streets of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate i
the nuisance described in said Resolution No. 61-5 by having said I
nuisances referred to removed, and he and his assistants are hereby i
expressly authorized to enter upon private property for that purpose. I
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property owners sha11 have ,�
the ri�ht to have any such nuisance removed and aUated at his own �
ex enae �
p , provided such work is done prior to the time the work is done
by the Superintendent of Streets. If the work is done by the property I
'owner„ no charge shall be made by the City of Lynwooc].
