RESOLUTION N0 61-25
IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF CORTLAND
AVENUE_ET AL. RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION
OF DEBT LIMITATTON REPORT.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
(1) That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
requi-re, and the City Council of the City of Lynwood. proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
(2) That the general nature, location, and extent of such
proposed improvement is as follows: The construction of vitrified
clay pipe sanitary sewers complete in place, including sewage pumping
station, manholes, and all incidental and appurtenant work in certain
private streets east o£ Wright Road, known as Cortland Avenue, Louise �
i
Avenue, and Check Avenue.
(3) It is hereby further determined that the City Council ;
of the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and. in aecordance ;
with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of I
California which is lmown as the Special �sses,sment Investigation, �
Limitation and Ma,jority Protest Act of Z931 as amended. It is her.eby '

further determined that said City Council proposes to conduct the pro- i
ceedings for said proposed work or improvement under an act of the i
I
Legislature of the State of California known and designated as the �
"Improvement Act of 1911," as amended, i
(4) The boundary or extent of the assessment district to be �
assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is shown on
Plan No. 1961-L-1 on file in the office of the City Clerk o£ said City,
which shall govern for all details as to the extent of said assessment �
district. I�
(5) That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed. to I
prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report covering �
said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said �
Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act '
