RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCZL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPOINTING A MEMBER AND AL �LTERNATE
MEMBER TO THE B041RD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT N0. 1 OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
WI�REAS, the County Sanitation District Act, as amended
by Statutes Zg49 Chapter 882, contains the following provisions:
Tnat the governing body of a sanitation district is a
board of directors of not less than three members, a member of the
governing body of each city, the whole or part of which is included '
in the sanitation district, is a member of the board, and �
WHERE�IS, County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles
County doe� include territory of the City of Lynwood, �
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Thomas H. Pender, a
member of the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood, be and he is hereby
appointed to serve as a member of the Board o£ Directors of County
Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County, and ,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Arnold Finch, a member of
the City Council of the City of Lynwood be, and. he is hereby selected
i
and designated as an alternate member of the Board of Directors of
County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County, who shall.be
a member of said District Board to act in place of the presiding
officer of this City Council during his absence, inability, or �
i
�-`refusal to act as such member of said District Board.
