RESOLUTION N0. 61-28
. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING THE WORK
�ND LEVYING THE PROPOSED ;�SSESSMENT FOR SERVICE
NECESSARY TO M�lINTAIN AND ILLUMIN�TE r'1LL STREET
LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
"'WHEREAS, the City Council of the City'of Lynwood, Californi'a,
did on the 18th day of April Zg61 adopt Resolution No. 61-22 fixing
the time and place for a hearing in the matter o£ lighting maintenance
district No. 19 of the City of Lynwood, and
WHERE4IS, all interested persons were given full opportunity
to present their protests or ob,jections, and
WHERE,�S, evidenee has been received as to the publication
and posting of notice of said hearing in the time, form, and manner
required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, the said City Council, after due considera-
" ' tion o£ all such objections�and protests, does hereby overrule and
deny any sueh protests and ob,jections and each of them to the work or
improvement to be done within eaid Street Lighting Maintenanee Distriet
as described in Resolution of Intention No. 61-21 of said city and to
the proposed assessment therefor; and does hereby confirm and adopt
as a whole, unmodified, the assessment and report as described in said
Resolution of Intention No. 61-21, and '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest and con-
venience demands and requires and t12is City Council does hereby order
the said contemplated improvement to be made in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor, adopted and approved, and the City
Council does hereby levy the said proposed assessment made to cover
the costs and expenses of said improvement upon the respective sub-
divisions o£ land in said distr#'et and as fixed by the proposed report
and assessment hereto£ore filed in the office of the City Clerk, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk o£ the City of

Lynwood is hereby ordered to transmit to the County of Los Angeles
tax collector the diagram and assessment upon which such levy is
based and said County tax collector is hereby authorized and directed �
to make collections of all such assessments, and to perform all the
acts and duties as are required of said �6ct to be performed by the
persons designated as "Tax Collector" in Chap�er 6 of the Street
Lighting Act of lglg as amended.
