RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
VAC�TE THE AI,LEY SOUTHERLY OF BURTON ,�VENUE
BETWEEN PEACH 5TREET AND SANTiI FE AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1. The following described alley is unnecessary
for present or prospective alley purposes and the public interest,
necessity, and convenience require, and the City Council of said I

City hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon the alley
described as follows; �
Those portions of Lots 2 and 3, Block 14, Belle %
Vernon Acres, in the City of Lynwood, County of ;
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 9, page 196 of Maps, in the office of the '
County Recorder of said County, lying southerly of �
a line that is parallel with and distant northerly �
78 feet, 6 inches, from the southerly line of said
Lot 3, i
EXCEPT therefrom the westerly 131 feet of the '
southerly 58 feet, 6 inches of said Lot 3. I

ALSO EXCEPT therefrom the southerly 58 feet 6 inches I
of that portion of' said land, lying easterly of the �
easterly line o£ the westerly l�jl�feet o£ said Lot 3.
Section 2. That said alley as above described, lying and I
being in said City of Lynwood, is shown on Map No. 1961-K on file I
in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and to which all parties '
interested are referred for further particulars as to the proposed !
vacation and abandonment. �
Section 3. That these proceedings are had and taken under �
the provisions of Section 8300 to 8324, inclusive, of the Streets
� and Highways Code of the State of Cali£ornia, as amended. I
Section 4. That Tuesday, the 5th day of July lg6i at the
hour of 7;30 p.m, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall 1133o I
Bullis Road, in said City, is hereby fixed as the time and place for '
hearing any protests or objections to the proposed vacation or '

abandonment of said alley.

Section 5, That the City Clerk of said City is hereby

directed to publish and post notice of the passage of this resolution
in the time, form, and manner required by law.
