RESOLUTION NO. 16-9271
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING AND
HONORING UNITED STATES VETERANS ON
NOVEMBER 11, 2016; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, United States Veterans have played a mission critical role in
securing and protecting the freedom of Americans; and
WHEREAS, United States Veterans have also played a mission critical role in
securing in providing global stability and world peace; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission wishes to honor and recognize those
United States Veterans on November 11, 2016 for the immeasurable sacrifice.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Commission honors and recognizes United States
Veterans on November 11, 2016 for their immeasurable sacrifice.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the City
Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 2016.
