HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002-031 Resolution Approving Updated Feasibility Report & Setting Hearings for Imp & Assessment of Chippewa Rd ImpMember James Lane introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.02-31 RESOLUTION APPROVING UPDATED FEASIBILITY REPORT AND SETTING HEARINGS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND ASSESSMENT OF CHIPPEWA ROAD FROM MOHAWK DRIVE TO WILLOW DRIVE WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the city council on April 16, 2002, an updated feasibility report has been prepared by city staff with reference to the improvement of Chippewa Road from Mohawk Drive to Willow Drive, which report was received by the city council at its meeting on May 7, 2002. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The city council hereby accepts the updated feasibility report prepared by the city staff for the captioned project and will consider the improvement of Chippewa Road and the assessment of benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost thereof, which is estimated to be $227,000. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on June 4, 2002, in the council chambers at city hall beginning at 7:45 p.m. The city clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. 3. A public hearing shall be held on the assessment of said project on June 4, 2002, in the council chambers at city hall beginning at 7:45 p.m. The city clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such assessment hearing as required by law.
