RESOLUTION NO.02-31
RESOLUTION APPROVING UPDATED FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND SETTING HEARINGS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND
ASSESSMENT OF CHIPPEWA ROAD FROM MOHAWK
DRIVE TO WILLOW DRIVE
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the city council on April 16, 2002, an
updated feasibility report has been prepared by city staff with reference to the improvement of
Chippewa Road from Mohawk Drive to Willow Drive, which report was received by the city
council at its meeting on May 7, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The city council hereby accepts the updated feasibility report prepared by the city
staff for the captioned project and will consider the improvement of Chippewa Road and the
assessment of benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost thereof, which is estimated to be
$227,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on June 4, 2002, in the council
chambers at city hall beginning at 7:45 p.m. The city clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
3. A public hearing shall be held on the assessment of said project on June 4, 2002, in
the council chambers at city hall beginning at 7:45 p.m. The city clerk -treasurer shall give mailed
and published notice of such assessment hearing as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Carolyn
Smith and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Zietlow, Lane,
Smith, Supel
and the following voted against same: None. Workman abstained.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
