RESOLUTION N0. 61-49
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD WITHDRAIdING CERTAIN LAND ANNEXED
TO SAID CITY OF LYNWOOD FROM THE WILLOWBROOK
LIGHTING DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
�7HEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of a certain area of land to said City of Lynwood, as hereinafter
described, and i
, WHERE�S, the State of California Streets and Highways Code,
Division 14, Part 4, Chapter 16 of the Highway Lighting District Act
I
(Section 1g290, as amended) provides that whenever any portion of a
district is included within a city by reason of annexation, such por- ;
tion may be withdrawn from the district,
N07aI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described area of land lying within
said Willowbrook Lighting District of Los Angeles County be, and the
same is hereby d,eclared withdrawn from said District:

Alameda Street Annexation No. 2 6 57 December 20 1956 I
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of the parcel of
land marked Omri J. Bullis 100.495 acres" on map of the Bullis Land
recorded in Book 3, page 399 of Miscellaneous Records in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, California, distant ,
northerly thereon 2028.55 feet, more or less, from the southwesterly
corner of said parcel of land, said point being the northwesterly �
corner of the parcel of land described as Parcel 1 in deed to Katsujiro i
Horiuchi, et al, recorded in Book 47365 page 266, of the official �
records in the office of said Recorder; thence northerly along the �
westerly line of the aforementioned parcel of land, "Omri J. Bullis
100.495 acres" to the center line of Imperial Highway (formerly Lynwood '
�Road) as shown on map of Watts Park Tract recorded in Book 8, page 70 j
of Maps, in the office of said Recorder; thence easterly along said �
center line to the boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said boun-
dary line existed on June 15 1956 thence southerly along said last �
mentioned boundary and following the same in all its varioua courses '
to a point on the easterly line of aforementioned Parcel 1 in deed to I
Katsu,jiro Horiuchi, et al; thence northerly and westerly along the
boundary oP said last mentioned parcel of land to the point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and �
< ordered to file copies of this'resolution with the State Board of �

�. Equalization,.the County Board of Supervisors, and the County Assessor. �
