CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.02-32
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION
OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT ON THE IMPROVEMENT
OF SIOUX DRIVE
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that roadway and sidewalk improvements be made on
Sioux Drive from Hamel Road to the vicinity of the railroad tracks south of TH55 and to assess
benefited properties for some or all of the cost thereof, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and
Associates, P.A. as consulting engineer for study and the engineer be instructed to report to the
council with all convenient speed in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed roadway and
sidewalk improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether they should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost
of the improvements as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Carolyn
Smith and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Lane, Smith,
Workman, Supel and Zietlow.
and the following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
