RESOLUTION OF ORDER OF V�CATION OF THE ALLEY
SOUTHERLY OF BURTON AVENUE,BETWEEN PE�CH STREET
AND SANTA FE AVENUE IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREd�S, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did on
the 12th day of June ig6i adopt a resolution declaring its intention
to vacate the alley southerly of Burton Avenue between Peach Street
and Santa' Avenue' in the City of'Lynwood;' as hereinafter described,
and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and posted
in the time, form, and manner required by law, and
WHEREAS, a full and impartial hearing was held on the 5th
day o£ July, 1961, which was continued to the lst day of August, 1961,
and the 15th day of August, 1961, covering all the matters described
in said resolution of intention, and
WHEREAS, one protest or ob,�ection was made at said hearing
to said proposed vacation of said alley,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1 . That the following described alley is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use, and it is hereby ordered that
the following described alley in the City of Lynwood, California, be
vacated and abandoned:
Those portions of Lots 2 and 3, Bloek 14, Belle
Vernon Acres, in the City of Lynwood, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 9, page 196 0£ Maps, in the o£fice of the
� County Recorder of said County, ly'ing southerly of
a line that is parallel with and distant northerly
78 feet, 6 inches, from the southerly line of said
Lot 3.
EXCEPT there£rom the westerly 131 feet of the
southerly 58 feet, 6 inehes of said Lot 3•
RLSO EXCEPT therefrom the southerly 58 feet 6 inches

of that portion of said land, lying easterly of the
easterly line of the westerly 151 feet of said Lot 3.
Seetion 2 . That the City of Lynwood reserves an easement
in, over, or upon said above described property for the construction,
erection, and/or maintenance therein of public utilities.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified
copy of said order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Los �ngeles County.
