The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, does Y , hereby resolve as follows: Section l . Tax District No. l. Tha't� tYie purposes of taxation, all of that territory and lands lying and being in the cor- porate limits of' the City of Lynwood, California, prior to February l, 1g61 be known as and constitute Tax District No. 1 of said c3ty. Section 2. That the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property with3n the corporate limits of the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, in Tax District No. 1 of said city, to provide for carrying�on the various funetions of municipal government in said city for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1961 and ending June 30, 1962 is hereby fixed at the`sum of Two Hundred Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-one and Nineteen One-hundredths Dollars ($217,j21.19). Section 3 . That in addition to the amount of money neces- sary to be raised as aforesaid, the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of said city in Tax District No. 1 of said city to provide for the payment to the State Employees� Retirement System according to the terms of contract with the State of California for making the officials and employees of the City of Lynwood members of the State Employees� Retirement System, authority for the execution of said contract as granted by-Ordinanee 1vo. 426 adopted by a vote of.the qualified ., electors of the City of Lynwood the 16th day o£ 4�pril 1g46 for the fiscal year beginning July l, Zg61 and ending June 30 196z is hereby fixed at the sum of Seventy-seven Thouaand Six Hundred Fourteen and Seventy-one One-hundredths Dollars ($77,614.71). Section 4 . That for the purposes of raising the sums of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the city limits of said City of Lynwood as the revenue to carry on the funetions of the various departments of said city, to provide payment to State Employeess Retirement Fund as authorized in Ordinance No. 426 the rates of taxes are hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property within the city limits of aaid city, included. in Tax District Number 1 for the fiscal year beginning July l, 1961 and ending June 30, 1962 upon each $100.00 of the assessed vaTue of said property as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board oP Supervisors o£ the County of Los .�ngeles, State of California, for the said fiscal year, as follows: For General Purposes �0.42 For CityTs contribution to State Retirement Fund authorized at Election held �pril, 1946 $ Total �0.57 Secti�on 5 . Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 608 adopted by the City Council of said city on the 16th day of February, - 1g54 the City Council does further resolve that the City Treasurer has filed with it a report that there is 3n the "Swimming Pool Bonds, 1954 Interest and Redemption Fund" of the treasury of said city, a sum sufficient to pay the in�erest on said bonds as it falls due and such part of the principal as will become due for the fiscal year beginning Ju1y l, 1g61 and ending June 30, 1962. Section 6 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward immediately to the County Auditor-Controller of Los �ngeles County a certified copy of this resolution. � Section 7 .
