A RESOLUTIOPS OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
SECTIODI 2 OF RESOLUTION N0. 61-43, TO PROVIDE
FOR A SALARY RANGE OF RAPdGE 33 ($627-$752�
� FOR THE NEW CLASS OF ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF.

� The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
� .
resolve as-follows:
A re-evaluation of the city's classification plan as
preacribed.by Ordinance 671 (Personnel Ordinance) and the Personnel
Rules and Regulations indicates that the duties and responsibilities
of one Captain in the Fire Department have become sufficiently
different in funetion and activity to warrant a separate class
description of a more responsible nature, The clas.s of Assista.nt
Fire Chief'has been established to overcome anv problems of dis-
, similar duties and responsibilities.
Section 1: That Section 2 oi Resolution PSo, 61-43 is
'- hereby amended to include under the heading of Range 33 (�627-$752); -
the classification of Assistant Fire Chie£ to provide'a. more
effective chain of command and a more equitable position classifica-
tion.
