Legion Hall- McCall, Idaho
Committee Members Present: Forrest Stanley, Cory Nelson, Donna Bush and Irwin Mulnick
Staff Member Present: Kurt Wolf
Welcome- Meeting was called to order at 6:02 PM.
Public Comment- No public comment
Agenda Review & Updates- Nothing was added to the agenda.
Introduction of Guests:
Review minutes from previous meeting: Minutes were reviewed Forrest Stanley moved to approve minutes. Donna Bush seconded,
all were in favor.
Business:
1.Recreation Fall & Winter program overview- Kurt gave a brief overview of winter programming. Donna suggested it may be
beneficial to mix up teams by grades in youth basketball, modeling after council school district. Donna will discuss with Tara.
2.Parks Department Project Update -
a. Kurt updated the committee on the Wooley Boardwalk project. Awarded bid went to Falvey Earthworks. The department
goal for the project is to begin work Winter/Spring 2019 with completion by June 30`h
b. Kurt shared work had been completed down at Riverfront with the use of a DEQ Grant.
c. Department staff continues to work with the Landscape architecture class. Kurt and staff will travel to UOI in March to
view preliminary designs and give feedback.
3. Expiring Terms- update on open seats Committee will continue to review letters of interest for 4 open -seats on the committee and
recommend there top three to Kurt for selection to be presented to council.
4. Public Art Review- The committee reviewed the public art selections for Lardo Bridge and Downtown Project.
Meeting adjourned at 7:34 PM. Next meeting is scheduled for: March 18, at 6:OOpm in Legion Hall
