AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT
FROM THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available to charitable
organizations and community agencies in Wayne County, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the Widowed Persons Service (hereinafter “WPS”) of the City of Richmond
Department of Parks and Recreation desires to submit a grant application in order to purchase an IBM compatible computer, laser printer, and printer cable.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The WPS is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to The Wayne County Foundation for funding to purchase an IBM compatible computer, laser printer, and printer cable.
2. The WPS is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to One Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars and Fifty Cents ($1,980.50).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the WPS, shall be appropriated for the purchase of an IBM compatible computer, laser printer, and printer cable
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of March, 1998, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
