RESOLUTION NO.02-35
RESOLUTION ORDERING CHIPPEWA ROAD
IMPROVEMENT BY DAY LABOR
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the city council on May 7, 2002, a public
hearing was set for June 4, 2002 at 7:45 p.m. in the Medina city council chambers on the proposed
improvement of Chippewa Road from Mohawk Drive to Willow Drive; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given and the hearing was held as Scheduled, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were
given an opportunity to address the council thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The proposed improvement of Chippewa Road from Mohawk Drive to Willow
Drive by constructing pavement 24 feet in width to a 9-ton capacity and gravel shoulders 4 feet in
width is hereby ordered by day labor.
2. The public works department shall proceed with the project under the direction of
the city council and with the supervision of a registered engineer.
3. It is the judgment of the city council that the proposed improvement has no
relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tom Supel
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: SupeI, Zietlow, Lane,
Smith
and the following voted against same: None. Workman abstained.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
