BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, as follows: WHEREAS, pursuant, to an act of the Legislature of the State of Calif'ornia known as the "Labor Code," the City Council of the City of Lynwood is required to ascertain the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for legal holidays and overtime work in this locality for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mechanic needed to execute the proposed contract for the construction of 8-inch vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, 6-inch vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewer house laterals, sanitary sewer pump station and manholes, including all incidental and appurtenant work in portions of unnamed streets commonly known as Cortland Avenue and Louise Avenue, and a private street commonly known as Check Avenue, all easterly of �right Road, in accordance with plans and specifications No. 1961-L-3 on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City of Lynwood.' NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as,follows: � _ � Section 1. Any classi£ication omitted herein, not less than $2.50 per hour plus emp�oyer payments set forth in the collective baroaining agreement applicable to the class or classification of the worlrnian or mechanic involved.
