RESOLUTION N0. 61-74
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
PUBLIC RECORDS NO LONGER REQUIRED.
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has in her custody certain
records, documents and papers hereinafter described wherein more
than £ive years have elapsed since such record, document or paper i
was prepared; and -- •
WHEREAS, said records, documents and papers are no longer
required,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section l. That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized
to destroy the following documents and papers in respect to which
more than five years have elapsed since such recorc5, documents and
papers were prepared:
(1) Treasurer.Fs Receipt Books through 1955
(2) Lighting Fund, 1911 and 1935 Aet Receipts �
through 1955; ,
� '' (3) Cancelled Checks from General Fund, Petty
� Cash and Payroll through i955.
