RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF °
THE PROPOSED IMPROVENIENT OF PORTIONS OF UNNIAMED i
STREETS COMMONLY KNOWN AS CORTLAND AVENUE AND
LOUISE 11VENUE, �1ND d� PRIVATE STREET COMMONLY
� KNOWN AS CHECK AVENUE, AI,L EItSTERLY OF WRIGHT
RO,�D, BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF VITRIFIED CLAY PIPE
SANITARY SEWERS, TOGETHER WITH ALL INCIDENTAL AND I
APPUR�'EN.�NT WORK.
WHERE�S, the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood did on the I
4th day of December, 1g61, publicly open, esamine, and declare all �
sealed proposals or bids for the following work to be done or improve- '
ment to be made in said city, to wit: all that certain work and
improvement set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 61-62 passed and
adopted by the said City Council on the 3rd day of October, ig61
which Resolution of Intention is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, and is hereby referred to for a description of
said work or improvement, the boundaries of the district to be
assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said work, and for further
particulars. �
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that � I
it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except the next
herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
or improvement to the lowest regular, responsible bidder, to wit:
The Beecher Construction Company, at the prices for said work or
improvement named in said bid, which bid is on file in the o£fice of
the City Clerk of said city and is hereby referred to for further
particulars.
The City Clerk of said city is hereUy directed to publish a
"Notice of Award of Cont�?act" twice in the Lynwood Press, a weekly �

newspaper published and circulated in said cit �
y, and hereby designated
