HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002-042 Resolution Entering into an Agreement with St of MN DOT to Install Traffic Signal at TH55 & Willow DrMember Bruce Workman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.02-42 RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO INSTALL A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT TH55 AT WILLOW DRIVE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Medina enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes, to wit: To install a new traffic control signal with street lights, emergency vehicle pre- emption and signing on Trunk Highway No. 55 at Willow Drive in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 83463R, a copy of which was before the Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized to execute such agreement and any amendments, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jim Lane and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Smith, Supel, Workman, Lane and Zietlowand the following voted against same: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
