A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND WORKING DETAILS FOR THE
RENTAL AND INSTALLATION OF A TEMPORARY MODULAR UNITS BUILDING
WHEREAS, the plans, contract documents and working details for the Modular
buildings are complete and ready for the City Council of the City of Lynwood's review,
consideration and adoption; and
WHEREAS, the installation of the temporary building offices are a apart of the
Construction of the New Council Chambers and New Annex building which was
approved by City Council on February 16, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the estimated project cost for a 12 months rental is $ 80,000; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by Revenue Bond and Water Bond, account
No. 4011-67-905; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said project is in accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (C) of the CEQA
guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That this project is in conformance with the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby adopts the
Plans, Contract Documents and Working Details.
Section 3. That the City Council authorizes the solicitation of bids.
Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19 day of October, 2010.
