A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE LONG BEACH BOULEVARD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NO. 4011.67.993 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER
TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on October 2, 2010, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded the Long Beach Boulevard Street Improvement Project contract to MG
Construction, in the amount of $773,102.55; and
WHEREAS, the project started on April 19, 2010 and was completed on August
27, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by Prop C Fund; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $807,734.39; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on August 27,
2010 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Long
Beach Boulevard Street Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.993 as complete in
accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the
recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19 day of October, 2010.
