RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT THE MATTER OF
THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF�A PORTION OF PENDLETON
AVENUE BETWEEN ELM AVENUE ATID ATLANTIC AVEPdUE BY
THE CONSTRUCTION OF VITRIFIED CLAY PIPE SANITARY
SEWERS, TOGETHER WITH ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTE-
NANT WORK.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk o£ the City of Lynwood did on the
4th day of Apr'il 1960 publicly open, examine, and declare a11 sealed '
proposals or bids for the following work to be= done or improvement
to be made in said city, to-wit: al1 that certain work and improve-
� ment set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 60-8 passed and adopted
by the said City Council on the 16th day of February, 1g6o which
Resolution of Intention is on file in the office of the City Clerk of I
said city, and is hereby referred to for a description of said work or
improvement, the boundaries of the district to be assessed to pay the
costs and expenses of said work and for further particulars,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY SAID City Council that
it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except the next
herein mentioned and hereUy awards the contract for doing said work
or improvement to the lowest regular, responsible bidder, to-wit:
Robert E. Scholes, at the prices for said work or improvement named in
said bid, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
city and is hereby referred to f'or further particulars.
The City Clerk of said .city is hereby directed to publish �
inotice of this awar��twice in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in said'city, and hereby designated for that
purpose by this City Council. �
