RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPOINTING A MEMBER AND AN ALTERNATE
MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY
SANITATION DISTRICT N0. 1 OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the County Sanitation District Act, as amended
by Statutes 1949 Chapter 882, contains the following provisions:
That the governing body of a sanitation district is a
board of d.irectors of not less than three members, a member of the
governing body of each city, the whole or part of which is included.
in the sanitation district, is a member of the board, and
WHEREAS,,County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles..
County does includ.e territory of the City of,Lynwood, �

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Arnold Finch, a member
of the City Council of the City of Lynwood, be and he' is hereby
appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of County
Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County; and '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Thomas H. Pender, a member of I
the City Council of the City of Lynwood be, and he is hereby selected I
and designated as an'alternate member of the Board of Directors of
County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County, who shall be ;

a member of said District Board to act in place of the presiding �
officer of this City Council during his absence, inability, or
� re£usal to act as such member of said District Board. ;
