The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California, does hereb,y resolve as follows: Section 1. Tax District No. 1. That for the purposes of taxation, all of that territory and lands lying and being in.the cor- porate limits of the City of Lynwood, California, prior to February l, lg6o be known as and constitute Tax District No. 1 of said city. I Section 2. That the amount of money necessary to be raised � by taxation upon the taxable propert;y within the corporate limits of � the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, in I Tax District No. 1 of said city, to provide for carrying on the various � funetions of municipal government in said city for the fiscal year . � beginning July l, 196o and. ending June 30 1961 is hereby fixed at the sum o£ Two Hundred Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-one and I Ninety-five One-hundredths Dollars ($213 ,49i.95). ; Section 3. That in addition to the amount of money neces- sary to be raised as aforesaid, the amount of money necessary to be � raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate ! limits of said city in Tax District No. 1 of said city to provide for , the payment to the State Employees? Retirement System according to the i terms of contract with the State of California for making the officials and employees of the City of Lynwood members of the State Employeess � Retirement System, authority for the execution o£ said contract as granted by Ordinance No. 426, adopted by a vote of the qualified electors oP the City of Lynwood the 16th day of April 1946 for the � fiscal year beginning July 1, 196o and ending June 30, 1961, is hereby fixed at the sum o£ 5eventy-six Thousand Six Hundred Sixteen and Fifty- six One-hundredths Dollars ($76 ,616.56). � ' Section 4. That for the purposes of raising the sums of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property i within the city limits of said City of Lynwood as the revenue to carry � I on the function of the various departments of said city, to provide payment to State EmployeesT Retirement Fund as authorized in Ordinance, No. 426, the rates of taxes are hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levi� on all taxable property within the city limits of said city, included in Tax District Number 1£or the fiscal year beginning July l, lg6o and ending June 30 1g61 upon each $100.00 of the assessed value of said property as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, for the said fiscal year, as follows: For General Purposes $0.42 ' For City�s contribution to State Retirement Fund authorized at eleetion held April ig46 $ 0.15 Total �p,57 Section 5. Pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 608 adopted by the City Council of said city on the 16th day of February, 1954, the City Council does further resolve that the City Treasurer has £iled with it a report that there is in the "Swirmning Pool Bonds, --- 1954, Interest and Redemption Fund" of the treasury of said city, a � sum sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds as it fa11s due and such part of the principal as will become due for the fiscal year beginning July 1 ig6o and ending June 30, 1961.
