HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002-053Member 0,041gyYt �N�V1 introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.02-53 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECONVEYANCE OF LOTS 11 AND 12, BLOCK 10, INDEPENDENCE BEACH WHEREAS, on May 7, 1996 the Medina city council (the "City") adopted Resolution No. 96-16 granting approval to Thomas Wallhausen to combine Lot 1, Block 1, Walnut Estates and Lots 11 and 12, Block 10, Independence Beach; and WHEREAS, Lots 11 and 12, Block 10, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property") are tax forfeit properties currently owned by the City; and WHEREAS, the City intends to authorize reconveyance of the Subject Property to the state of Minnesota for purpose of conveyance of the same to Thomas Wallhausen to complete the lot combination previously authorized by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Subject Property shall be reconveyed from the City to the state of Minnesota; and 2. City staff are authorized and directed to take such actions and to execute such documents as may be necessary or convenient to accomplish the intent of this resolution. Dated: August 20, 2002.
