RESOLUTION N0. 60-60
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNW00D AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF APPRAISERS
TO D�TERMINE THE FAIR MARKET VALUE OF A PORTION
OF THE PARK WATER COMPANY
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:•
WHEREAS, the Park Water Company has notified a11 cities
- served of their interition to se11 their water system and have
agreed to participate with five southeast cities in an impartial,
p'reliminary appraisal of said system, and � "
WHEREAS, the firm of Wilsey, Ham and Blair have agreed
to undertake the appraisal, the cost of which is to be pro-rated
on the basis of the number of services and logical service area
in each city, and
WHEREAS, it will be tb��the City's best interest to
participate in a cooperative appraisal in order to obtain factual
information before further negotiations with the Park .Water Company
are made;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
� City of Lynwood does hereby authorize the City Manager to enter
into a cooperative agreement with the firm of Wilsey, Ham and Blair
• for a preliminary appraisal of the fair market value o£ that
portion o£ the Park Water Company which is located in the logical .
service area of the City of Lynwood,
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of November, 1960.
