PROFESSIONAl. SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES
WIIEREAS, there exists at need for professional scr,,ices to provide additional
coordination, shop drawn reviews and inspection services in connection with changes
to tiao Public Works Facility AST and Fuel management system project; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the N.J.S.A. 40A:ll 5(1)(a) professional services are
exempt from requirements of competitive bidding, and
WHEREAS, thc local finance officer has certified that funds are available
NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved that the Mayor and Council of tile Borough of
Catxeret does hereby approve the appointment of Ki]lam & Associates at a maximum
cost of not to exceed S1800.00 billable per attached contract.
IT IS FURTIIER REASOLVED that thc contract awarded is without competitixo
bids itt accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A: l l-5(l)(a) duc to thc specialized and
professional nature of tile services provided.

SYSTEM PROJECT. THE INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT ON THE
REVERSE OF THE PURCHASE ORDER SHALL
NOT TO EXCEED $1,800.00 BE LIMITED TO THE VENDOR'S NEGLIGENT
OR WRONGFUL ACTS.
According to thc terms set tbrth in Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay thc Contractor the sum set
forth in Resolution.
