CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.02-67
RESOLUTION LEVYING TAXES
FOR 2002 PAYABLE IN 2003
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget for the operations of the City of Medina for
the 2003 calendar year, containing appropriations out of the General Fund of $ 2,476,027; and
WHEREAS, the anticipated revenues for the 2003 calendar year, is $ 2,476,027; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, County of
Hennepin, Minnesota, that a property tax levy of $ 1,435,147 be levied upon the taxable property in
the City of Medina for taxes payable in 2003 and herein authorize Laura Sulander, Acting Clerk -
Treasurer for the City of Medina to certify this resolution to the County Auditor of Hennepin
County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member James Lane
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Lane, Smith, Workman, Supel and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
