HomeMy Public PortalAbout2003-005 Resolution Requesting the Elm Creek Watershed Mgt Comm Enlarge Boundaries to Include Land Within CityMember Workman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 03-05 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE ELM CREEK WATERSHED MANAGEMENT COMMISSION ENLARGE ITS BOUNDARIES TO INCLUDE LAND WITHIN THE CITY WHEREAS, the city is a signatory of the Joint Powers Agreement for the Establishment of the Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission, adopted May 12, 1993; and WHEREAS, parts of four parcels of land located within the city are under the jurisdiction of the Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission and the remainder of the four parcels are not under the jurisdiction of any watershed district or watershed management organization; and WHEREAS, these four parcels of land are identified by property tax identification numbers and addresses as follows: PIN 2211823110002, 1735 Medina Road PIN 2211823110003, 1765 Medina Road PIN 2211823140001, address unassigned PIN 2211823140003, address unassigned WHEREAS, enlargement of the Elm Creek Watershed boundaries to include the remaining portions of these four parcels would serve the public welfare and public interest through more efficient water resource management. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that the Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission is requested to enlarge its boundaries to include all of the following parcels: PIN 2211823110002, 1735 Medina Road PIN 2211823110003, 1765 Medina Road PIN 2211823140001, address unassigned PIN 2211823140003, address unassigned Dated: January 7, 2003.
