RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH FACTS OF HEARING AND
CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT IN THE MATTER OF THE
ACQUISITION FOR AND OF PROPERTY WITHIN VEHICLE
PARKING DISTRICT N0, 2.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle
Parking District Act of 1g43, as amended, the City Council of the
City of Lynwood duly adopted Ordinance No. 679 on the 5th day of
August, 1958, declaring its intention to form a vehicle parking
district and acquire land described in said Ordinance No. 679.
Reference is hereby made to said ordinance £or a description of
said.acquisition and improvement, the assessment district, and for
particulars, which ord.inance is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, and
WHEREAS, the proceedings pursuant to said ordinance have
been had and taken in the time, form, and manner required by law,
and
WHEREAS, said City Council duly adopted Ord.inance No. 683
on the 7th day of October, Z958 ordering the assessment and establish-
ing the boundaries of said district, and
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the proposed assessment has
been published, posted, and mailed as required by law, and
WHEREAS, a full and- complete hearing on said assessment was
held. on the 6th day of January, 1959, and the 20th day of January,i959,and
WIlEREAS, the Council has determined that written protests
or objections to the things proposed to be done, as set forth in said
Ordinance rro. 679 have not been made by the owners of more than one-
half of the number of parcels or of more than one-half of the area o£
the land included within the proposed district subject to assessment,
and has further determined that there has been no majority protest
filed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED hy the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section l. That the assessment is just and correct and

in accordance with law, and that all actions, determinations,
resolutions, ordinanees, and order, and that all the proceedings
theretofore taken are legal, valid, and sufficient, and that the
diagram attached. to said assessment is legal, valid, and sufficient.
Section 2. That said proceedings and said assessment are
hereby confirmed and it is hereby ordered that the warrant may be
attached thereto accordingly.
