RESOLUTION N0. 59-32
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN PUBLIC RECORDS NO LONGER REQUIRED
_ WHEREAS, certain public records hereinafter described,
in the opinion of the City Clerk, are no longer of sufficient
historical, administrative, legal, fiscal, re'search, or other value
to be retained, and i
WI�EREAS, seven years have elapsed since the last day of
the fiscal or calendar year in which such records were prepared, and
WI�REAS, the City Attorney has given his written consent
to d.estroy said hereinafter named public records, without making a
copy thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That destruction of the following public �
records is hereby approved:
Demands from February 1941 - July i952.
Discontinued Sales Tax returns, Numbers 1- 1515.
Treasurer�s Receipts 1936 - July 1952
Excavation Permits 1930 - 1952.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to destroy the above mentioned public records.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th d.ay of July 1959•
