HomeMy Public PortalAbout2003-011 Resolution Granting Preliminary Approval for Wild Acres of MedinaMember Lane introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.03-11 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL FOR WILD ACRES OF MEDINA WHEREAS, Rita Jubert (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of property located at 1355 Hamel Road and legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant intends to plat the Property into three lots; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed and approved by the planning commission at its meeting on January 14, 2003; and WHEREAS, the plat was reviewed by the city council at its meeting on February 4, 2003. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicant for the plat of Wild Acres of Medina, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicant must comply with all requirements of the city's park commission; 2. The Applicant must comply with all requirements of the city's public works depal n>ent; 3. The Applicant must comply with all requirements of the Elm Creek Watershed district; 4. The Applicant must comply with all requirements of the city engineer; 5. The final plat must dedicate a total of 80 feet of right of way for County Road 15; 6. The final plat must dedicate 30 feet of right of way for Tamarack; RHB-227567v 1 ME230-357 7. The Applicant must deed to the city a 15 foot trail easement on the south side of County Road 15; 8. The Applicant must satisfy the additional park dedication requirement as a cash in lieu payment of $3300; 9. The Applicant must submit a ghost plat showing the future subdivision of Lot 1, Block 2; 10. The current septic system on the Property must be checked for compliance; 11. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and 12. The Applicant must submit the final plat for approval to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void. The final plat must be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval and of the ordinances and requirements of the city. Dated: April 1, 2003.
