RESOLUTION 1vo. 59-47
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO PERMIT THE
REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER
SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 12, 1960.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be held in
the City of Lynwood on April 12, 1960, and
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in
relation thereto, it will be necessary to mail sample ballots and �
polling place cards to the registered voters of the city, and. it
will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the County
of Los Angeles ivill imprint names and- addresses of the registered
voters of said city and the location of the polling places, and
insert said sample ballots and polling place cards into envelopes, and
WHEREAS, all necessary supplies in performing this service
shall be approved by and furnished to said Registrar of Voters by the
City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service
shall be paid by the City of Lynwood,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the.City of.Lynwood
does hereby resolve, determine, and order as follows:
Section l. That it is deemed economical and satisfactory
to the City Council of the City of Lynwood that the Registrar of Voters
of the County of Los Angeles imprint the.names and addresses of the
registered voters of said city and location of polling places on
insert sheets furnished by the city, and. insert said sample ballots
and polling place cards in mailing envelopes furnished by the city.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 9483 of the Elections Code of
the State of Cali£ornia, this City Counc3l hereby requests the Board
of Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles to permit the Registrar
of Voters of said County to render such services to the city in con-
nection with.the conduct of said election to be held on April 12 1960.

Section 2. That the City shall reimburse the County in
full for the services performed, upon presentation to the City of
a properly approved bi11 from said County.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
•forward, without.delay, to said Board of Supervisors and to said.
�� Registrar of Voters a certified copy of this resolution.
