RESOLUTION N0, 59-48
RESOLUTIOPI OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE CERTAIN ALLEYS AND STREET
IN THE COMMERCE TRACT.
i The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby �
resolve as follows: •
Section l: The following described alleys and street are
unnecessary for pr�sent or prospective street and alley purposes
and the public interest, necessity, and convenience require, and
the City Council of said City hereby declares its intention to
vacate and abandon the alleys and street described as £ollows:
The first alley easterly of the easterly roadway of
Alameda Street between the northerly line of Butler Avenue a.nd
the southerly line of Lynwood Road; ,
A11 remaining portions of Bullis Avenue between the
northerly line of Butler Avenue and the southerly line of Lynwood
Road;
The first a11ey northerly of' Butler Avenue between the
northerly prolongations of the easterly and westerly lines of
Lot 139 of Bu11is-Alameda Street Tract, as per map recorded in ,
Book 9, page 105, of Maps, in the of£ice of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California;
The first alley southerly of Lynrovood Road between the
easterly line of Bullis Avenue and the westerly line of the f'irst
alley easterly of Bullis Avenue;
The £irst alley easterly o£ Bullis Avenue between the
southerly line of Lynwood Road and the easterly prolon�ation o£ the
Street�yrC
southerly line of Lot 116 of a.forementioned Bullis-Ala,meda/Tract.
Section 2: Tha,t said alleys and street as a.bove described,
lying and being in sa.id City of Lynwood, are shown on Ma,p No. 1959-i
on file in the office of the City Clerk of sa,id City, a.nd to which
all parties �nterested are referred to for further,parti�ula.rs a,s
to the proposed vacation and abandonment.
Section 3: That these proceedings are had a.nd taken under
the provisions of Sections 8300 to 8324, inclusive, of the Streets
and Highwa.ys Code of the State of California, a.s amended. I
Section 4: That Tuesday, the 15th day of December, 1959
at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
11330 Bullis Road, in said City, is hereby fixed as the time and
place for hearing any protests or objections to the proposed vacation
or abandonment of said alleys and street.
Section 5: That the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to publish and post notice of the passage of this
Resolution in the time, form, and manner required by law.
