, RESOLUTION N0. 59-53
IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMEPST OF A PORTION OF
PENDLETON AVENUE. RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION
OF DEBT LIMITATION REPORT.
The City Council of the City of Ljrnwood does hereby resolve
a.s follows:
(l� That the public interest, convenience, and necessit;�
require, and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
(2� That the genera.l nature, location, and extent of sttch
proposed impro�rement is a,s follows: The construction of vitrified
cla.y pipe sanitary sewers complete in place, including manholes and all
incidental and a,ppurtenant work, in portions of Pendleton Avenue
between Elm Avenue and Atlantic Avenue.
(3) It is hereby further determined that the CitJ Council
of the Cit�r of L;�nwood adopts this resolution under and in a.ccorda.nce
with Section 4 of the Streets and Highwa�s Code of the State of Calif- •
ornia. which is known as the 5pecia,l Assessment Investi�ation, Limitation
and Majorit� Protest Act of 1931, a,s amended. It is hereb;� further
determined that said Cit,j Council proposes to coiiduct the proceedings
for said proposed work or improvement undez� an act of the Legislature of
the Sta.te of California known and designated as the "Improvement Act of
1911," a.s amended.
(4� The boundary or extent of thz assessment district to be
a,ssessed to pa;� the costs a,nd e�penses of said improvement is sl�own on
Plan No. 1g59-J, on file in the ofPice of the CitJ C1erk oP sa,id rit;
which shall �overn for all details as to the e�teiit of said asse�sment
district. .
• (5� That the City Engirieer be a.iid he is hereb�r directed to
prepare and deliver to said Cif.y Council a written report covering said
work or improvernent in accorda.nce with the provisions of sa.id '�Specia.l
