RESOLUTION N0. 2856
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF
PETITIONS REQUESTING THE ANNEXATION OF OZELL
MANOR ANIVEXATION N0. 10 TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood.
did, on the 12th day of August i958 recommend to the City Council
that the unincorporated territory lying between Olanda Street and ,
McMillan Street.and. bounded on the east and. west by the City of
Compton be annexed to the City of Lynwood and
WHEREAS, the boundary Commission of the County of Los
Angeles d.id on the 24th day o£ September, 1958 approve the proposed
boundaries of said area as to definiteness and certainty, and
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of October, 1958 the City Council
of the City of Lynwood consented to the commencement of annexation
proceedings to annex said territory, and �

WHEREAS, on the 9th day of October, 1958, there was filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood an affidavit of publica-
tion that said notice of intention to circulate petitions relating to
the annexation of said territory to the City of Lynwood was published
in the Herald American on the 9th day of October 1958
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that receipt of the affidavit �
of publication ie hereby acknowledged and approval is�hereby given for �
the circulation of petitions for the annexation of said- territory as
hereinafter described.
, That said territory is hereby'designated as "Ozell Manor
Annexation No. 10," and. is described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Olanda Street (60� wide) with the Easterly line of
Tract No. 116j2, as shown on map recorded in book 210,
pages 29 and 30 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County,
California, said Easterly line being on the boundary
line of the City of Compton as said boundary existed I
on September 17 1958 thence Southerly along said I
boundary line and following the same in all its various

Courses to the center line of Olanda Street
(60t� wide) said center line being on the Southerly
boundary of the City of Lynwood as said City boundary
existed- on September 17, 1958. Thence Easterly along
said boundary line to the point of beginning.
That proceedings for the annexation of said territory
shall be in accordance with "The Annexation Act of 1913," as amended.
� APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1958.
